Imagine it's election day

None of the parties standing for election seem
willing to tackle the urgent challenges we face.
If we want to survive, we need to bring about change.

Things can't go on like this

Parliament is composed of a diverse party spectrum. Their attention is often absorbed by political scandals and short-term headlines. Hence we need not only a new politics, but also a different approach to do politics.

More emphasis on the community

The party lives through its members, not its founders or representatives ...

Less Dependency on Individuals

Our provocative thesis is that politics should focus less on personalities and more on substantial policies...

Constructive politics / Sober objectivity

Politics must become boring again. Predictability and sobriety are required. We see no value in knocking down political opponents, ...

Clear statements

Politicians are expected to give honest answers to current questions and not just spout phrases ...

our mission

We have set ourselves a threefold mission…
A long-term mission, a secondary condition,
and a short-term goal.

1. Survive

To ensure the survival of mankind in the long term
in a preserved environment.

2. Liberties

To preserve our hard-won
civil liberties

3. Europe

To act swiftly and boldly as Europe,
united on the outside - diverse on the inside.

Only together we will succeed

In view of the gigantic challenges humanity as a whole is facing, we need to prioritise what we have in common over what divides us. Many people are still struggling with this realisation today. This is especially true for us, Europeans, who seem to be marching to just the opposite direction - back to a disastrous past.

In order to have any chance at all of being heard in the current geopolitical environment, we need the necessary weight. Germany, accounting for around 1% of the world's population and its dependence on decisions made on the other side of the Atlantic, does not have this weight. What we need is at least the size of Europe. The EU accounts for around 6% of the world's population. Europe as defined geographically, is estimated to account for almost 10%. More importantly, the EU recently accounted for around 18% of global economic output.

Without such a politically, economically and culturally self-confident state, we will continue to remain a pawn of the interests of other states.

Measured by the figures, a united Europe would at least have the weight to be heard. However, we first need to create a Europe that is capable of acting. There is no such thing today. Compared to this requirement, today's "European Union" can rather be seen as a failed attempt. If we are to have a say in deciding our own fate in this world, if we are to assert our interests, if we have no intention to be crushed in the great tussle between the world powers, we have to create a Europe that has the following characteristics:

  1. A democratically legitimised government,

  2. Sufficient weight measured in size, economic power and defence capability

  3. Uniform toward the outside world, but preserving its diversity internally, independent in its decisions.

  • Harnessing Europe's political strength
  • Highlighting commonalities
  • Overcoming divisions
  • Creating a capable Europe

.

A democratically legitimized government collectively endorsed by the peoples of Europe

.

Unity outwardly, diversity internally, and independence in decision-making

.

Sufficient weight measured by size, economic strength, and defense capability

'Politics is too important to be left to politicians..' This statement is often attributed to the first President of the Fifth French Republic, Charles de Gaulle.

Although this idea has been widely accepted, citizen participation is largely limited to voting at the ballot box.

We want to change that.

We welcome everyone who shares our threefold Mission
